The Net of Tides artistic initiative aims to encapsulate the fleeting essence of shoreline rhythms.    Informed by the structural logic of stationary fishing nets, this installation offers a new perspective on the act of harvesting. Rather than collecting aquatic life, this conceptual mesh gathers the endless surge of the tide and the fluctuating ecological conditions it brings. While only the buoyant spheres surface, the true substance of the "net" is formed by the complex tension between planetary gravity, water, biological existence, and the flow of time.    These sculptural spheres are composed of salvaged foam from the Xiangshan coast, reinforced with crushed shells and resin. They create a visual illusion of density while remaining remarkably light. During high tide, they operate as drifting landmasses, pulling secrets of the seabed into view. At low tide, they rest upon the wet sand, showcasing a living gallery where local fauna and human transit constantly reinvent the coastal boundary.    This work functions as a perpetual conversation rather than a motionless sculpture. The installation's configuration is dictated by the ocean's heartbeat; no two viewings are ever identical. Every rising tide reconfigures the alignment of the spheres, as the native environment begins to integrate the materials. The final piece emerges as a collective creation between lunar cycles, marine currents, organic life, and environmental endurance.    By emphasizing these fluid transitions, The Net of Tides reveals the hidden energy that carves our world. It posits that a specific site is not merely a coordinate on a map, but a vibrant phenomenon generated by the friction between celestial mechanics, natural habitats, and the narrative of human history.
